Welcome to Champlain College Saint-Lambert!
We believe that you will receive the best college-level education available in Quebec. Your individual success at Champlain is very important to
us. In order to enhance the likelihood of your succeeding, here are some things to think about as you prepare for the transition from high school to CÉGEP.
Getting the basic information that you need to start CÉGEP:
This web site has been designed to give what you need to get started. Read all the information and if you have questions, make sure that you ask them. You can find all the contact information you need either here or in the main college web site.
Getting the assistance you need after you start classes:
Our goal is to increase your ability to `take charge of your own learning` for this is a crucial asset for success in life. However, Champlain Saint-Lambert’s teachers are committed to your success and they are ready to help you. One of the most important things for new CÉGEP students to learn quickly is that you must speak up whenever you have a question or encounter difficulty. Your teachers are all available during and outside of class to answer your questions. Take charge of your life but ask for help when you need it.
Staying involved and active:
At Champlain Saint-Lambert we firmly believe that not all learning occurs inside the classroom. There are numerous academic, social and athletic activities which will allow you to develop and grow as an individual and, hopefully increase the quality of your CÉGEP experience. It`s up to you to choose what you put into and get out of your years at college. If you take advantage of the many resources and services that we have available for you, you will develop the necessary skills and abilities that will prepare you well for university or for a career. Our last suggestion is therefore that you get involved and stay active!
Welcome to Champlain Saint-Lambert. Take advantage of all that we have to offer you. I look forward to seeing you on the platform at graduation.
