About the program:
2022-2023 PROGRAM BROCHURE
The field of psychology investigates the mysteries of the human mind and resulting behaviour. Students intrigued by what influences behaviour, how it is modified, and the therapies employed to do so, will have their curiosity rewarded in the Psychology option. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of psychology, while also giving them the freedom to explore several specialized fields including, but not limited to: sports psychology, developmental psychology, human sexuality and social psychology. At the same time students will acquire core social science and research methodology skills preparing them for eventual university study.
This option is for the students who are interested in furthering their studies in Psychology at the university level. As part of the Social Science Program, the Psychology option satisfies the requirements for most Bachelor of Arts university programs.
