Let’s Get Real: Know the Past – Shape the Future
Student Led Open Forum will revolve around the possible themes of: systemic racism, racial profiling, mass incarceration, micro aggressions, cultural appropriation vs cultural appreciation, code switching, white privilege, identity crisis with context of mixed race individuals etc. Faculty members Susan Blanche Chato and Wanita Jones will ensure a safe space where students will want to share their opinions, stories, teach and learn from one another.

Block Party – Closing Ceremony
- Interactive & Educational Student Run Stations will display and highlight traditional Food & Music.
- Community Organization booths – The Black Community Resource Centre https://bcrcmontreal.com/ & Black Academic Scholarship Fund. https://basfund.ca/ will be present to educate students on the various educational opportunities for youth from black communities.
