Humanities teacher, Bethany Or, has been working on a documentary film for the past three years called Être chinois au Québec, in which she is one of the two main characters. The documentary will premiere next Friday, February 15th, at the Chinese Cultural Centre at 1088 Clark St. in Montreal’s Chinatown (metro Place d’Armes), from 7 to 10 P.M. The cost of admission is $5 or pay-what-you-can.
The film is about a trip that Parker Mah and Bethany Or take across Quebec, looking for and documenting the experiences of Chinese in Montreal, Brossard, Trois-Rivieres, Quebec City, Rimouski, Gaspe.
